Domestic Violence Counseling: When the Counselor Becomes Your Enemy

I often hear domestic violence survivors complain that the counselor they are seeing with their partner has sided with him/her. These victims expected to seek therapeutic remedy for the dysfunction that they live, and they discover they have gained another “enemy.”

Here are some things you will want to know if you are going to a therapist with your partner for domestic abuse.

Dr King if I didn't read this I wouldn't believe it our site should be up on wordpress next week and then we'll post the information you sent. How horrible to have the possibility of being a victim not once but twice not even taking into consideration the personal shame and insecurity these women suffer from as well.

Blessings and I hope I'm able to help in some ways if only to be a grandmother sharing blogging support because no woman or child ever deserves physical or emotional abuse and first we have to understand before we can help.

Thanks for this article it was an eye opener.
