Domestic violence provention programme

My own experience of an abuser meant that if one disagreed in anyway, he would threaten, break objects, shout, imprison, humiliate, and use violence. Violence was use to subdue, regain control and bring back his domestic bliss. I am an author and artist, like many women here, my life has been tainted by violence in the home. If I had a group of like minded individuals, maybe my path would have seemed clearer many years ago.
