I seem to get out my feelings with poetry.
and example

He stood over me
his 6 foot 4
to my 5 foot 3
Hot steaming breath
inches from my face.
Hissing and snorting
I could feel the rage-
but dare not run
or crouch
Ragged breathing
I did not know
what I had done.
He inhaled loudly
and said
in a seething breath
between his teeth...
Why didn't you tell me
you were going to cut your hair!

Wow is that picture great!!! I have a year round country place about 85 miles north of Montreal. The trees and water look similar ............ but look at the mountain in this picture. The rockies ????

The vets have it hard--they love animals and to see what they see is a freak out.

Phil Arkow from the humane society has a couple of dynamite presentations on how animals get abused when the people in the house also get abused. I'll send him an invite to join us on this network.
