Saving Cinderella

Dedicated to Helping Women Trapped in Abusive Partnerships

Just a suggestion. For all of us to get to know each other better, would it be good if each one of us gave a small explaination of what we do in life and some of our life's experiences?? We're a growing group and it might be interesting.

Any comments?

Hello & Welcome Phyllis
Phyllis, a huge hug for you and hopefully some renewed strength to help you stay the course in the direction of your freedom. In order for you to ever heal and find your own personnel freedom you do have to turn the page and get out of that place that you are in. I know that my words may sound like I am simplifying your situation....trust me when I say this...I have been where you are and I have left with my 4 children. I started from scratch going from garage sale to garage sale until we had what we needed to feel like we had a home.
I worked 16 hour days to continue to support my children. We survived and we are stronger for it.
There is no perfect world nor is there any easy way out of a horrible relationship. It is all about focus sweet Phyllis. I was once told that "it takes pure guts to leave a marriage". That is the damn truth.
In does help to have friends and support...non judgmental support and people that are willing to listen to you over and over and over if necessary to help you gain strength.
In order for you to gain strength so that you can stay focused on that light which holds your new life and freedom to be YOU...you do need that support.
Staying focused once you have made up your mind is vital to your not turning back.
We are here anytime!
ONWAED & UPWARD!

Hi, Phyllis:

Thank you for joining us and taking part in this network.

Please be SAFE! as you traverse the way of your current life. Carry a cell phone at all times, even if you don't have a wireless service or provider, the cell phone should still allow you to call 911 if need be.

Also, remember the National DV Hotline is there in TX and can be reached by dialing 1-800-799-SAFE. They are helpful in getting you all sorts of help and direction.

We do have a new startup group for writers. You can check it out and think about joining it by clicking on: http://savingcinderella.ning.com/groups

Again. Welcome aboard and thanks for joining us. Ellen

Hi Phyllis,

Welcome to Saving Cinderella. Dawn mentioned you to me in an Email a while ago and said to keep an eye out for you. You are in a good place Phyllis as you have already found out. As everyone has said, we're here for you. Don't hesitate to contact anyone of us. We may be small in comparison to other sites, but you have before you a vast group of talent. Look over the site (if you haven't aready) to see what I'm talking about. Individually and collectively we are determined to put a big dent in this issue of DV.

Richard
